  1. I remember my “bunny summer”. I found one in the field behind my mom’s house. Bribed it closer with carrots. Caught it and brought it home. She was scrawny but sweet, and litter trained almost immediately. She was noisy at night, so she slept in a dog kennel in another room. One morning, I brought the kennel into my room and let her out to pee… and the shredded paper inside the kennel kept moving… I screamed for my mom, and carefully peered inside… where she’d had a litter of baby bunnies. One became five, and as a group, they became a bit more wild… I ended up finding them all good homes, but to this day, treasure the time we spent together. Your girls will always remember this summer… =)

  2. oh my goodness, what a story! We purposely bought all girls bunnies so there would be no ‘surprises”, but what a cool experience for you. The girls are enjoying their bunny summer.
