a few more late October photos: my shadow, pink, and macro shot

I took roughly 200 photos these last couple days.  Halloween preparations with a house full of little girls, and the first hard frost of the year made for a frenzy of happy clicking.

I captured this shot, just as the sun rays threaded through the giant Oak in the yard next to us.  The hard crystallized frost started to soften and drip off my icy tangle of roses.

 

My photo eye candy for the creative gals at I heart Macro was a hard choice.  I decided on this:
