Uncle Tom’s Cabin

I started this as part of my book club 2 years ago.

I got about 50 pages into it when suddenly it dawned on me, "Wow, my period IS a week late isn't"?

I did not get any further.

Our little "Oops-A-Daisy",as my husband likes to refer to her, was the most rewarding "accident" we have ever had, and I have recently started this amazing book up again.  If you were required to read this in school, you probably were denied half of this books' content. ( Get the unabridged).  Abraham Lincoln supposedly referred to the Author, Harriet Beecher Stowe, as "The little lady who started the great war".

This book clearly proves to me the power of literature, truth, and right over might.

Working on finishing it now.
